God truly has a sense of humor… and I seem to be the butt of a lot of his jokes. It doesn’t rain for THREE weeks, then just minutes before Victoria and Jermaine’s outdoor ceremony it starts raining! Only to stop long enough to get the guests outside… then it starts again!
Victoria and Jermaine really weren’t phased by the change in plans. They exchanged vows on the dance floor, surrounded by all the people who love them. So, if rain on your wedding day is good luck, then they were certainly blessed on Saturday!

To all of our 2011 brides– Olyn and I were talking this week and we hate that we are always so rushed on the wedding day that sometimes we don’t get the opportunity to create all the images we have in our minds. So, for all of our 2011 brides– WE WANT TO PLAY! We are offering a complimentary bridal portrait session to any 2011 wedding client– the only hitch is that it has to be what we are looking to do. These are not going to be run of the mill, Maclay Gardens type of bridal portraits, nor are they going to be “trash the dress”. We want to work at some cool locations, play with some unconventional lighting and just have the time to do the things that we want to do. We are looking to create lots of those images that make you stop and say “ooooh”. This is the really artsy side of what we do and many times on the wedding day the schedule doesn’t give us enough time for these types of images.
If you are interested in “letting us play”, just send me an email and we will schedule your bridal session! I am so excited to go play and create the kind of images that I love!

Kerry and Lee had the quintessential southern wedding. Beautiful downtown Tallahassee church, mint julep cups as pew markers, sweet tea and lemonade at the reception. Who could ask for anything better? The day was absolutely beautiful and everything and everyone was just perfect! What a great way to end our busy season!

I think its easy for a lot of brides to lose focus with their weddings. They get so wrapped up in the exact right shade of pink that the whole day becomes more of a production than a true celebration. Mandi is the opposite. She prepared and expected for some things to not be exactly right. She laughed when there were a few bumps in the road and when things couldn’t go exactly as planned, she laughed and shrugged. Mandi is a dream bride. 🙂
Adam isn’t so bad himself, but I do have to admit I had a great laugh as he is totally superstitious and absolutely PANICKED about seeing Mandi before the ceremony. If I wasn’t a nicer person, I would have totally played it up and made him actually hide!
We had such an amazing time with them both and I love how much they focused on their relationship, their friendships and their families.

Most receptions have dancing. Many have drinking. Some have a few party people. No other reception can compare to Christen and Eddie’s though! I swear from the moment they were introduced at Golden Eagle, the party was in full swing! The dance floor was crazy all night with literally everyone– from the toddlers to the grandparents! It was an amazing night and I hope they had as much fun as we did! 🙂

Shana and I are such kindred spirits– detail oriented to the core! Her Sunday wedding at Golden Eagle was true to form– every detail was covered and cleverly thought out. Joe was as chill as could be– the perfect compliment to each other.
