Jan 28, 2011 | Announcements, wedding
After holding our wedding packages at the same price for the last 3 1/2 years, it has come time to make some package adjustments. They will not be major price increases, but tweaks to the package structure and a small price increase for some of the packages. All weddings booked before February 1st can redeem the existing pricing, all weddings booked after that date will be with the new pricing. Thank you so much to everyone for understanding, we are looking forward to another amazing year of weddings!

Lacey and Caleb had probably the sweetest most intimate church wedding and reception that I have ever seen. The two have spent most of their relationship separated as Caleb worked in North Carolina and Lacey was in school here in Tallahassee. It wasn’t just that the bride and groom were excited to be together, but their families were so filled with love and joy. It gave the entire day such a warmth of emotion– a great contrast to the dreary cold outside!

Kelle obviously had some butterflies before the ceremony– she was checking and rechecking every detail. Josh did his best to appear cool as a cucumber. The moment he saw Kelle coming down the aisle he had to fight back the tears. Then, as they walked hand in hand out of the ceremony he just about tackled me with the biggest hug in the world. He may have looked chill, but this guy was about to bust at the seams he was so overjoyed to be marrying the love of his life. Sorry if I just blew his cover, but I found it to be so incredibly endearing and heart-warming!

What is true love? I think its one of those things you just know it when you see it and I definitely saw it with Kristina and Matt– its the wink when you catch her looking at you during the ceremony, its the cozy hug to keep warm during outdoor portraits, its carrying her flowers and helping with her dress. I am so glad I was able to share their day and document this kind of love.

Its so easy to get stuck in a rut. You just find what works and creativity shuts down. Having clients like Callie who give us total trust and freedom allows us to fight against that and come up with some beautiful new images. I am so thankful that she let us go play, that Capital City Country Club gave us free reign of their wonderful location, that the amazing Edna Hall of A Touch of Class Florist supplied an awesome bouquet and that Victoria Landy and Bekah did a wonderful job on the hair and makeup!
