Refreshing is the best word I can think of to describe Martha and Jay’s morning wedding. It was so wonderful to see a wedding where the couple did not worry about all the tiny details, or put their emphasis on a blow out party, but rather focused on their commitment and their vows. Probably the best laugh I had all day was when it was time for the vows, Martha hopped up on a wooden box so that she could say her vows eye to eye with Jay. Now there is a way to overcome a height difference!!

Sometimes the world smiles on you and you get a bride and groom who love what you do, give you all their trust and TONS of time for awesome portraits. Its like a lightning strike! So, for Michelle and James, they gave me everything I could dream of for their awesome Double Tree wedding and I hope their images are all they could have imagined!

Jennifer and Jeff’s Golden Eagle wedding can probably be summed up by Jeff’s comment at the end of the night, “She really is the best bride ever, isn’t she?”. Well in fact, they are just the greatest couple we could ever ask for. They were so laid back, super fun, laughed all day and totally trusted us to do our thing. Even when that means my super painful poses. 🙂 So here’s to Jennifer and Jeff– our anniversary twins, clients and now friends.

I can certify that summer is officially here! Karen and Nathan’s garden themed wedding was a tad steamy, but after a quick afternoon thunderstorm everything cooled off and their guests danced underneath the stars at Maclay Gardens.

Nothing is more personal than an “at home” wedding. Rikki and Casey celebrated at his family’s home here in Tallahassee with a blue and green nautical themed wedding. I don’t think there was a single formal thing all day– it was one big relaxed party!
