The Dee girls got into Tallahassee just before Christmas, so we needed to do a family session while everyone was in town! So often we neglect doing family portraits when our children become adults, but the need and the value of a family portrait is just as much when they are grown! All families change over time. The forces of life add and subtract from our families, but each and every stage of that development is as important as the last or the next. I am so glad I could capture this moment in time for the Dee family and I am sure years from now these will be treasured for that time is gone. (more…)
We have photographed the Marston kids for years, but this is the first time that we photographed the grown up Marstons as well! They are such a fun, silly, happy family, you just can’t help but to smile and laugh when you are with them! Even though this was one of the hottest mornings of the year, we still had a amazing time laughing and joking!
Olyn came up with the perfect word to describe Jack and Mallie– “Animated”. They are just that– full of energy (without being naughty), super excited about their world, loving and most of all fun. Mallie is as bouncy as her curly hair and Jack is just as sweet as he could be. It was a whirlwind session, but I really enjoyed every minute of it and I am still laughing at their silliness as I go through the images!
The Colston Family may look like a group of grown-ups, but after a few minutes, you can see that this group never lost their childish sense of fun. Being with such a rowdy, funny family means you just can’t help smiling! They were such a hoot for their session and I was still laughing as I sorted through their images!
I am in denial that the Charles kids are this big now. Miss N was barely talking when I did her first session and the boys have been coming to me since they were just a few days old! Now, Miss N is full of sass and is so incredibly smart and funny! The boys are already causing trouble and picking on each other– its just amazing how quickly time passes!
