Lacey and Caleb had probably the sweetest most intimate church wedding and reception that I have ever seen. The two have spent most of their relationship separated as Caleb worked in North Carolina and Lacey was in school here in Tallahassee. It wasn’t just that the bride and groom were excited to be together, but their families were so filled with love and joy. It gave the entire day such a warmth of emotion– a great contrast to the dreary cold outside!

One of my favorite portrait specials that we started last year was “Kisses”. The kids come in and their moms place red lipstick kisses all over them– so simple, so sweet and so funny! Hearing the kids reactions to all their mom’s kisses is absolutely hilarious!
As our celebration of Valentines, its also the time that we thank Tallahassee for all their support, so the Kisses sessions are done with no session fee! The quick 15 minute sessions are by appointment only for children 6mo-10 years and will be on Saturday, January 22nd. To reserve your session, just contact the studio at 850.339.5799 or email Linda@LongsPhotography.com The sessions are limited in availability, but we will start a wait list when we book up. While there is no session fee, if you cancel your session within 48 hours of the event or if you fail to come to your session, we will not be able to include you in any future specials that we offer. 🙂

In the last six years, we have done a lot of advertising and through all our different efforts, we really learned that our best clients come to us because they saw our work from their friends or family. We have asked our clients to share their experiences and this last year our client base has again dramatically grown, almost entirely from referrals of existing clients. Thank you!
So when we sat down to plan out 2011, we decided not to spend money on expensive advertising, but to turn around and give rewards to those clients who are singing our praises. So, for 2011, when you place a qualifying order in the studio you will be given referral cards. If someone you refer brings in your card and books a regularly priced session, they get a $25 print credit with their session AND you also get a $25 credit. Each referral card that comes in will also be placed in a bowl and we will draw each month from those referring clients to win extra prizes.
We will also be rewarding the top three referrers of the year. Each card of yours that comes in will be entered in the monthly drawings, but will also count as points for the end of the year. The winning referrer will receive $1,000 in prizes, 2nd place will receive $500 in prizes and third will receive $250 in prizes.

Its time to vote! Posted below are all of our Cute Baby Contest entries! (So glad I don’t have to vote, there are too many cuties to choose from!) To vote, click the bolded link below and select the baby you would like to win. You may vote once per day per email address. Voting more than once per day will disqualify all the votes from that email address. You may only vote from your own email address– if you vote from other people’s email, that baby will be disqualified from the contest. These contests are great fun, but everyone has to play by the rules! 🙂
