It’s voting time again! This time we are looking for Tallahassee’s Favorite Family! Voting will be open from September 13th until September 20th at noon. You may vote once per email address, but the voting rules are very strict!! Be sure to read over the rules!
You didn’t hear we were looking for Tallahassee’s Favorite Family!? Well, you must not be on our Facebook page! Be sure to go to Long’s Photography on Facebook and select “like” so you can be a part of our contests and take advantage of some of our Facebook-only specials!
VOTING RULES:
Please select the link below to enter your vote. You may vote once per day per email address. If you vote more than once per day with an email address, all votes from that email will be disqualified. You may only vote with your own email address!! If you use other people’s emails to submit votes those votes will all be thrown out and the contestant will be disqualified. All email addresses will be verified by a contact to that address. By voting, you are enrolling in our monthly email newsletter, but we will not sell or share your address with anyone and you can opt out of our newsletter at any time. All invalid address votes will be disqualified, including any that require additional steps or verification for the email to go through. Please vote only with an email address where you can receive mail– if you are not allowed to receive personal email at an address, please do not use it for voting.

Most of y’all know that Olyn and I compete in photographic print competitions both locally and at the state level. This year, I decided to be brave and submit a case of four prints to the national competition. This case was shipped off back in the spring and I literally forgot about it. We have had such a crazy busy summer here at the studio I didn’t think about it until today. I has honestly assumed that since it was my first time entering I would not have any merits. I was shocked this morning when I found the results online and learned one of my prints merited! Woo! 🙂 So, here it is… my first NATIONAL merit image!

I have never ever heard any high school senior say they weren’t ready for high school to be over with… until now. Avery is a Wakulla High Senior and also the winner of our Awesome Teen Contest and she is actually enjoying high school. I know, totally strange, right!? She is funny and smart and creative and has the bestest fake smile in the world! Thank goodness both her mom and I were able to make fun of her for it!

So, I have gotten lots of questions about who is answering the phones here at the studio… so let me introduce our new office manager, Katie! We were really sad when Morgan had to leave to go back to school, but so thankful that Katie has been able to step into her shoes. Katie is the one calling to confirm your appointments, schedule your pickups, etc. She is here almost every afternoon, so if you want to be sure to get ahold of the person in the know, be sure to call when Katie is here! 🙂

Tucker made me laugh so hard that my sides hurt! He has always been a little monkey in front of the camera, but this time he stepped up his game! He was so full of smiles and a million different funny faces! I literally laughed all over again when I downloaded the card and saw all his silliness! Narrowing down the images for the blog was no easy feat!
