Welcome Home Troops!
In just about two weeks Tallahassee will welcome home soldiers who have spent the last year in Iraq. I see everyday where so many of the girlfriends, wives, sisters, mothers and friends are counting down the days until they come home. To celebrate their homecoming, we will be offering family portrait sessions for the soldiers families after they get home. On December 28, 29 and 30th, our studio is open for y’all! There is no charge for the sessions, just call the studio at 850.339.5799 or email Linda@LongsPhotography.com to schedule your time.

Kristina and Matt & Tallahassee wedding photographers
What is true love? I think its one of those things you just know it when you see it and I definitely saw it with Kristina and Matt– its the wink when you catch her looking at you during the ceremony, its the cozy hug to keep warm during outdoor portraits, its carrying her flowers and helping with her dress. I am so glad I was able to share their day and document this kind of love.

Karae and Colby & Tallahassee engagement portraits
Olyn and I are total nerds. We just are.
We are both a wealth of totally useless knowledge, so its always exciting for me to find another encyclopedia type person. Colby is definitely that– he had the details on different plants, old farm machinery, etc. We had the best time with both Karae and Colby and I definitely see a Trivial Pursuit matchup in our future!

Baby Maddie & Tallahassee baby portraits
I really feel bad for any future suitors Baby Maddie will have when she is a teenager. With her gorgeous face, you just know that the guys will be lined up around the block… only to meet her two big brothers! I definitely think Reed and Cooper will end up being very protective of their little sis. She is so sweet and mellow, definitely a blessing as a third baby!

Baby Emily & Tallahassee baby portraits
Baby Emily is still only two months old and is as tiny and sweet as can be, but you can already tell that she is going to be a very independent little lady. Many three month olds still struggle holding their heads up for very long, but not Emily! She wants to see the world! She was exhausted for her portrait session, but was very content to be up looking around at everything that is going on. My guess is that she will be an early crawler and walker and most definitely a very observant and aware little girl!

The Phillips Family & Tallahassee Family Portraits
Ahhhh little girls– one of my most favorite kinds of portrait sessions is families with little girls. (Probably because I live in a house of all boys!) When I get to work with little girls, its all princesses, magic, twirls and silliness. These two little girls were especially fun– they are bright, energetic and absolutely hilarious. Thank you so much, Phillips Family, for sharing them with me!
