Its always an honor to be chosen as someone’s wedding photographer, but with Kim and Peter’s wedding it was like being invited to be a part of the family! They were so loving, welcoming and gracious to us it really made us feel like we were just one more friend celebrating with them! I loved getting to know their Greek-Orthodox traditions and celebrating “Greek style”! It definitely made for a reception I will never forget!

After seven years, Karen and TJ finally got married! Most people get a different kind of “Seven Year Itch”, but with Karen and TJ you can absolutely see how much they are in love with one another. TJ fought back tears as Karen came down the aisle and then I was fighting back tears as they continued their personal tradition of exchanging friendship bracelets. Their unwavering friendship is so apparent in how much fun they have together– the day was just filled with laughter!
Karen’t choice of a whimsical wedding theme just absolutely fits them to a T. With games for the guests to play on the tables and cornhole and horseshoes off to the side, this wedding was fun for everyone!
August engagement photo sessions in Tallahassee can be difficult with the heat, but Jessica and Levi chose to get up at dawn for their engagement session at Bradley’s Pond. Even better, we were able to include the truck that Levi helped his dad restore. We kept a country theme for the engagement session and went for a very different look than we will have up in Alabama for their June wedding.

Photographing a wedding with an awesome couple, beautiful details and fun guests– pretty much a photographer’s dream. Add in that the couple totally trusts you and gives you creative freedom?? Then add in that its the second wedding for this family, so you already know and love lots of people there?? Yes, I was in photography heaven on Saturday with Meredith and Brad’s wedding!
From the sweet ceremony at St. Thomas More to the amazingly gorgeous reception at the Double Tree in downtown Tallahassee, Meredith and Brad had an absolutely perfect wedding day! With all the purple and gold details and the special vintage touches, it was a completely unique and personalized event– right on down to the tennis shoe ice sculpture (since the couple met running a marathon). I am so glad that Meredith and Brad chose us to photograph their awesome wedding!
