Fall weddings are always my favorite! The weather was beyond perfect as Lindsey and Travis exchanged vows in front of the lake at Golden Eagle Country Club. The best part of the day was watching as they stood on either side of the door and Travis encouraged her to hurry up since he was so excited for Lindsey to become his wife!

Photographing a wedding with an awesome couple, beautiful details and fun guests– pretty much a photographer’s dream. Add in that the couple totally trusts you and gives you creative freedom?? Then add in that its the second wedding for this family, so you already know and love lots of people there?? Yes, I was in photography heaven on Saturday with Meredith and Brad’s wedding!
From the sweet ceremony at St. Thomas More to the amazingly gorgeous reception at the Double Tree in downtown Tallahassee, Meredith and Brad had an absolutely perfect wedding day! With all the purple and gold details and the special vintage touches, it was a completely unique and personalized event– right on down to the tennis shoe ice sculpture (since the couple met running a marathon). I am so glad that Meredith and Brad chose us to photograph their awesome wedding!

When a couple shares a passion for running and its the sport that brought them together… well you just have to do a running themed engagement session! I was so glad the tropical storm passed through Tallahassee just in time for us to fit in Meredith and Brad’s running themed engagement session at Tom Brown Park!
I love when we can make an engagement session really personal to the couple. For Shelby and Trevor, we chose not to just go to one of the pretty parks in town, but somewhere that has personal meaning for them. They met on the track team for Florida State, so what better place for their engagement portraits than on the track at FSU!
Jennie and Matt came up from Orlando for their engagement portrait session a few weeks ago, but the Tallahassee weather had a different idea! With severe thunderstorms, wind and hail, we had no choice but to reschedule! Luckily, they were able to sneak back to Tallahassee for a quick weekend before the wedding and we were graced with beautiful weather… and a field of wildflowers! Everything happens for a reason– we just needed to wait for those wildflowers! 😉
