Not too many newborns are incredibly stubborn, but I have to agree with Lily’s parents when I say that she is definitely a stubborn little girl with a mind of her own! She isn’t bad at all– she just makes up her mind that she wants to stay awake and then does anything and everything imaginable to do just that. She gave it a good fight, but in the end, I won and got her to sleep through the majority of her session. 🙂 Now I think her mom might be bringing her to me every afternoon to get her down for naptime!

Hannah was my rockstar this week– I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better baby. She is obviously beautiful but she is so stinkin cuddly and sweet I didn’t want to give her back to her mommy! This little monkey was cool with whatever I wanted to do with her and just let me play! I think I accomplished more in her one hour session than I do with most babies in three hours! So, yea for Hannah! 🙂

I really do love all the babies I photograph, but I can’t lie and say that Baby Mason didn’t melt my heart. I am absolutely and totally in love with this little guy. He is so sweet, snuggly and has the most irresistible cheeks and lips I have ever seen. I really didn’t want to give him back to his parents to tell the truth! Even looking at his images just makes me want to swoon!

Baby Gavin came into the world in a quite dramatic way. After waiting until a week past his due date, the little guy put his mommy through 28 hours of labor and then a C-section! To top that off, the little guy then got stuck in the NICU for over two weeks! His mommy called us last Friday in a rush to get his newborn portraits done, since today he is on his way to Pensacola to get a cast on his leg. I am so glad we were able to squeeze them in yesterday and I am rushing to blog this to hopefully brighten his mom’s day as I am sure she is stressed and anxious with the cast and doctor’s appointments. And to Gavin, buddy you have to give mom and dad a break now!

Baby Myra is such a punctual little girl, arriving exactly on her due date. Mom, Dad and big sister are in the midst of selling their house and moving across the country to Dad’s new job, but Baby Myra was perfectly content to wait until her exact due date. My guess is that this little peanut will be the calm in the storm and not let much phase her. 🙂
