Meet tiny little Ella Cate! She is the final piece to complete her big family. She makes all the odds even, balancing the girls with the boys in their house. With a big sister and two big brothers, I think this little gal is going to have a scrappy personality just to keep up with everyone!

The word “spitfire” was made just for baby Kinsley. You might not think a one week old baby would have this much personality, but I promise you this feisty little girl would show you otherwise! She was beyond fun to photograph and I can’t wait to see her spunky little personality grow!

I always love when my Watch Me Grow baby plan graduates become big brothers and sisters! I love it even more when they bring the new baby to see me! Its amazing to watch these babies grow over their first year, but seeing them grow into toddlers and become big brothers and sisters is beyond awesome. This time, Miss Lucy brought her tiny baby sister Caroline to see me for her newborn photos. Caroline was born teeny tiny just like Lucy, but you can already see their different personalities coming out!

I won’t type in all caps, but you can pretty much read this post in my screaming squealing voice. Baby Mason is here!! I have been bouncing off the walls for months in anticipation of meeting my new nephew! I was an etsy addict buying all kinds of things for his newborn session and I blocked off a week at the studio so I could be in South Carolina after he was born to love on him and photograph him. There was only one catch… the little booger missed his due date. Yep. In my family of uber-punctual people, this little guy decided to be late. Not a little late, either! NINE DAYS LATE! By the time he finally arrived and got home from the hospital it was the last day we would be up there. So all of my big newborn portrait session plans condensed into one insane marathon day of newborn photos.
Thank goodness the little dude was a trooper. I probably did four full newborn sessions worth of images with him, destroying my brother’s house in the process! We did all the normal fun newborn session things, but then we did some special themed images to incorporate my sister-in-laws love of Harry Potter, my brother’s love of Nissan and Mason’s Snoopy and Charlie Brown themed nursery. It was so awesome to have complete creative control and to know the parents so well that I could really add some personal touches to the session. Plus, it meant I had hours of uninterrupted Mason time!
So, this is the first of what I am sure will be many many posts of Mason photos over the coming months and years!
