Four babies in this family and they are split down the middle- the first and third look alike and now little Miss Yeevah comes along and looks like her big big sister! Being the last baby in the family, its so bittersweet photographing Yeevah’s newborn photo session. I love photographing this big, crazy family and it makes me sad to know this is the last newborn session I will do for them!
Marshall is already following in his dad’s big footsteps, with his bowtie and army uniform as a part of his newborn photo session. He was such an angel for the session, I could have photographed him all day!
When I do a newborn photo session here in the Tallahassee studio, we tell the parents to bring in anything that they would like the baby photographed with that has sentimental value to them. We have used uniforms, antique toys, race medals, jerseys, stuffed animals, etc. but never before a wedding dress. I won’t lie, I definitely had some nerves about using something so important, but baby Isabelle was a perfect angel and no wedding dresses were harmed in creating these images!

I have been so excited to meet baby Caleb for months! His parents have been clients for years, so of course I was thrilled when I heard he was finally here! He was a total angel for his newborn session and gave his parents a much needed break while we worked!
Baby Evie was a long time due. Her parents had tried and hoped for her for nineteen years before she surprised everyone! When you hope and ache for a child for so long, having those prayers answered makes that child such a blessing and you cherish things differently than couples who conceive easily. In talking to Evie’s mommy, I knew how special this session was for her and I wanted to do everything that I could to make it a wonderful memory. Plus, it doesn’t hurt when the baby is freaking gorgeous and poses like a champ! Such a super model!
