Since Mother’s Day is celebrated in May, this year we decided to celebrate those moms in the making!  We are offering maternity mini-sessions in the studio for the month of May only!  The $79 session fee includes a weekday session for mom only on one background with one outfit.  Mom must be between 30 and 40 weeks pregnant at the time of the session and is welcome to bring her own outfit or play with any of the awesome maternity gowns we have here at the studio!

Session fee includes the session and an in-studio order session to make your purchase decisions.  Prints, products and digital files are all purchased separately, with no minimum order.  Our pricing may be viewed at: Long’s Photography Pricing

Sam is about to welcome her fifth and last baby into the world, so she decided to do maternity portraits to capture this last pregnancy.  Sam is a super-mom, I swear!  She not only has four kids already, but each and every one of them was as kind, sweet and cooperative as I could have ever asked for.  When it was mom’s time alone in front of the camera, I barely heard a peep from the four of them in the gallery!  Plus, just look how gorgeous she is– she is rockin the whole mom-to-be look as well!

Brittany is one of the most beautiful moms-to-be that I have ever photographed– both on the inside and the outside.  She is so sweet and down-to-Earth!  You know she will be an amazing mom, just by hearing her talk about her little fur baby! 

I am so glad we could capture her pregnancy in these images!  I know years from now her daughter will be able to see how loved she was from the very beginning!  Just one more reason why I love doing maternity portrait sessions!

I doubt its a secret that I love photographing women.  I find so much beauty in women– women of all shapes, sizes, ages, colors.  But beyond just capturing that beauty, when I can show a woman how beautiful she really is, and she gets to keep that image forever to remind her of it?  That is one of the most fulfilling parts of my job. 

Ashley let me choose from our new maternity dresses for her maternity portrait session at Dorothy B. Oven park.  With the rich colors and blooms in the park I really wanted to use deep jewel tone colors.  Ashley was a little skeptical since these aren’t colors she normally wears, but just look how stunning and regal she looks!  At the end of the session, I think she realized that this color palette works really well for her because of all the compliments!
