The Kimelman Family

Three girls, three dogs and two parents… it all adds up to chaos and hilarity!  I am so glad we were able to capture the Kimelman family with all three of their furry little guys, especially when two of them are 14 and 15 years old!

The Hood Family

I think its so much harder to photograph grown-ups than it is to photograph kids.  Kids are not self-conscious, they don’t worry about their outfits, their hair or their smile.  They are just naturally who they are.  Plus, grown ups are so hard to schedule!  🙂  Thankfully, on our third try, we managed to get the entire Hood family in for their session.  I think it was SO worth it!

The Barber Boys

Its not that uncommon for a mom to cry when she comes to her order session and sees her images for the first time.  Olyn is totally prepared and has a tissue box handy.  It’s pretty uncommon for images to have that effect on me, but when I saw the images we captured of Kristina and her boys, it really choked me up.  There is so much love in this family, its contagious.  I hope Kristina loves these as much as I do!

The Grauer Family

The Grauer Family first began at Maclay Gardens with their wedding and last week we were lucky enough to capture their first family portrait as a group of four at the same location.  I had to giggle as Miss K. asked me about my wedding and she assumed it had been at the Gardens too.  In her mind, since her mommy and daddy were married there, everyone must have gotten married there too!

Baby Gavin

Baby Gavin came into the world in a quite dramatic way.  After waiting until a week past his due date, the little guy put his mommy through 28 hours of labor and then a C-section!  To top that off, the little guy then got stuck in the NICU for over two weeks!  His mommy called us last Friday in a rush to get his newborn portraits done, since today he is on his way to Pensacola to get a cast on his leg.  I am so glad we were able to squeeze them in yesterday and I am rushing to blog this to hopefully brighten his mom’s day as I am sure she is stressed and anxious with the cast and doctor’s appointments.  And to Gavin, buddy you have to give mom and dad a break now!
