Itsy bitsy Kaitlyn is an amazing super star model in the making. She is probably the best newborn I have ever photographed. She slept soundly through her entire session and was completely content in any pose I put her in. In other words… I heart this baby!
Yet another one of my babies is finishing her baby plan! Ashlyn is the newest big girl in the group, joining her big sister as one of our Watch Me Grow grads! We had the most fun friend join us for their family portraits at Dorothy B. Oven– a ladybug came to visit! Who knew that a tiny red bug was the key to getting Natalie to smile!?
Audrey is the snuggliest little bug and even though she had the big birthday, there is no stranger anxiety from this little one! She was her silly self for her session, but the end of our time was way to close for naptime. I picked her up and she just laid down on my shoulder and began to twirl my hair. Seriously, how much sweeter can you get! I just love having all these little girls to play with since my house is full of boys!
I never like the last session of our Watch Me Grow plans, but this one I liked even less! Not only is Sawyer now a big girl and finished with her plan, but she is moving to Texas with her family! Bah! Im normally so sad at the last session just because I won’t see them as often, but to have her and brother Camden go several states away is just heartbreaking! I have loved photographing these two monkeys since they were tiny babies! I will definitely miss them and their parents, but we wish them the very best of luck in their new adventure!
To honor all the moms out there in time for Mother’s Day, we will be offering our Mommy & Me Portrait Special on Saturday, April 7th. There is no session fee for the all black and white mini-session of moms with their children. Whether the child is 4 months or 40, these quick take portraits are a chance to capture that very special relationship between a mother and child. Sessions can accommodate up to four children with their mother or grandmother. Children can be of any age and sessions can include multiple generations with grandmothers on down to babies. Since it is the day before Easter, it’s a great chance for a quick portrait when everyone is in town!
