When I photograph someone close to me, I get extra nervous. When its someone I love, I sweat bullets. I want to do my very very best work for them. For Sarah, we decided to do her bridal portraits while we were in Panama City working. We scouted several spots, but when the time came, we were running to stay ahead of the setting sun. In the end, the sun set in exactly the perfect way to give Sarah a surreal, golden glow. I sighed a big sigh of relief once I clicked the shutter because I knew I had captured Sarah just as I had imagined in my mind.

SQUEE! I adore photographing bridal portraits! Its a chance to get really beautiful images of the bride in a different location than the wedding. For Shelby, we wanted a rustic, southern feeling so we chose Shiloh Farms. Its such a quaint and serene location, but right before the session began, it burst out raining. We made the very best of a bad situation and used the Shiloh chapel and barn to create Shelby’s portraits. While it wasn’t the original plan, I really love how it worked out! (more…)

One of my most favoritest things to photograph is brides. Unfortunately, on most wedding days, there is a big time crunch and we are not able to do as many different things as I would like. For Diana, I was overjoyed to do a bridal portrait session the week before her wedding. It was so much fun to go out to Maclay Gardens and play with this gorgeous bride and her stunning dress!
