Storybook Santa sessions have easily become my favorite thing to photograph.  Watching the children absolutely light up when they see St. Nick or watching their disbelief when he calls them by name or uses his magic to start the snowglobe… it fills my heart with joy and love.  Knowing these albums will become part of their family history and one day they could even be shared with the next generation really fills me with satisfaction that is hard to describe.

I love all the images we created this year, especially because of the pandemic.  There were so many things we all had to miss out on because of Covid.  I love the thought that even when times were rough, we could still come together in love and share the joy of Christmas.

The Storybook Santa Sessions have quickly become my favorite thing to photograph.  Its honestly magical to watch these children play and laugh with Santa.  There is so much love, goodness and joy in each of these sessions its honestly such an honor to capture these memories!  I am in love with every single session we did this year– even when things went a little “off script”, it all just adds into their special memory!

We have been talking to Santa and he has made his plans to come back to Tallahassee to visit just before Christmas!  He is making special appointment times on December 1, 7 and 8th, 2019 to chat and play with boys and girls who are on his “good” list!

Each 30 minute session can include just the kids or the whole family.  Santa sends a personalized letter to your children inviting them to the studio and giving them a wish list to bring back with them.  During the session, they will toast with milk and cookies, see Santa’s magic, paint some magic on toys and help decorate our Christmas tree!

Storybook Santa session fee is $199, but if you use coupon code MAGIC when you book online, you can save $50 off the session fee!  The session fee includes the Santa experience only.  We will have you schedule a second appointment the week after the portrait session where you will view the unretouched images to make your purchase decisions.  Storybook Santa sessions have a limited menu available so that we may deliver as many of the products as we can before Christmas!  For more detailed pricing, visit the pricing page of www.LongsPhotography.com

We still had the Christmas tree set up from our Storybook Santa sessions, so when the Mitchell family wanted portraits of the kids with a holiday theme, we just moved a few things around in the studio and made it work! Christmas is my absolute favorite time of the year, so I love displaying holiday images in my home year round. It always reminds me of that cozy time of year when you have time together with family, great food to eat and so much to be thankful for! I am so happy that the Mitchell family will have these images on their walls to also remind them of those feelings!

This was the first year we did a full Storybook Santa experience and I think these might be my favorite sessions of all to photograph!! Watching the innocent joy and wonder in the children’s faces as they interacted with Santa Claus was one of the greatest joys I have experienced as a photographer.

We transformed our Tallahassee studio into Santa’s North Pole workshop and the kids had the best time playing with the big guy in red and then joining our elves for some milk and cookies!
