I have been photographing Sabrina’s family for years now, so of course I was overjoyed when they called to book her senior portrait session. Sabrina is so much like her mom– they are both incredibly kind and thoughtful, easy to laugh and lots of fun to be around. Sabrina has the most amazing vocal talent and I am so excited for her to set out into the world and see where music takes her!
I had the best time with Gillian’s senior portraits. She is so easy to photograph because just about anything will make her laugh! She is definitely the bad joke queen and she gave me a whole list of bad puns to use to make kids laugh now. I will forever be in her debt for the cow jokes!
We have been looking forward to Cara’s senior portraits for several years! After photographing both her big brothers’ senior sessions, I knew we would get to have lots of fun with their energetic, artistic sister! Cara incorporated lots of her passions into her senior portraits– music, dance, flag football and her faith. I loved getting to photograph her senior portraits in her home church in downtown Tallahassee– First Baptist. We were able to find so many cool locations from traditional to urban and modern, all within a very small spot in downtown Tallahassee!

Olyn and I had another great showing at the Tallahassee Professional Photographers Guild Meeting– we won two print categories each and my image was selected as the overall print of the month!

A few years ago, we photographed Brittany’s sister for her senior portraits and ever since her mom has been waiting to do a matching session for Brittany. No pressure, right? 🙂
Sometimes when you put the camera to your eye you see your subject is something truly special. Brittany is definitely one of those subjects. Her features are obviously pretty when you first meet her, but when you put her in front of a camera she becomes absolutely exquisite. I swear I could photograph her all day! To make it even better, she is the most down to Earth teenager– an absolute sweetheart!
Olyn and I competed in the Tallahassee Professional Photographers Guild monthly print competition last night and we are so excited to share the results! Olyn won for the category “Portrait of a Group”. I entered the maximum number of prints in the competition and I won for all of them! I won for: Commercial, Portrait of Two, Portrait of a Man and Portrait of a Woman. Most excitingly, I won the overall Print of the Month of the Month with my Portrait of a Woman.
