I know I say so often on the blog about how much we love our clients and I want to make sure everyone knows I really DO mean it! We have some of the best clients on the planet! There are a few that have merged for just being clients to being our friends and Jennifer & Kevin are definitely one of those couples! I photographed their wedding back in 2007 and since I have had the wonderful privilege of photographing their family and now the two of them again! They are two people who constantly encourage me, support me and bring smiles to my face. I know if I have a cool shot going up on the blog, Jenn will be one to leave a comment or send me an email or FB message. I am so thankful to have them as clients, but even more luck to call them my friends.

I have done so many engagement portraits I can’t even begin to guess at the number. Serious is not in Christen and Eddie’s vocabulary. Any time we tried an image with “no smiles” one or both of them would burst out laughing. While we did have to wait a bit for the giggles to subside, I think any relationship with this much laughter is destined for good things!

Ol’ Miss grads and college sweethearts, Brooke and Thomas are transplants to Tallahassee from Tennessee and Mississippi who are having a Disney World wedding and had us do their engagement portraits in downtown! Yes, that is an extremely long sentence with an even longer amount of travel involved! They are such an adorable couple, I was co glad we could be a part of their wedding plans!

Normally you hear about the bride spending hours getting ready for portraits, but this time it was the groom’s turn. 🙂 I just have to laugh, as James went to the Aveda institute for a quick trim and clean up and ended up in the chair for an hour and a half! Now he did look quite handsome and the stylist did a wonderful job, but its hilarious that he took longer than Michelle to get ready and I had quite a bit of fun teasing him about it!
