Its time to update your headshot and for two days only, we have headshot sessions for $89, a $40 savings! On June 8th and 9th 2015 here in our studio, you can get a headshot session and one high resolution retouched digital file for only $89. You can also select to purchase additional retouched image files for $59 each.
Headshot sessions are for ages 16+ and each session is limited to one person each. Each session is one outfit and one background, but additional outfits or backgrounds may be added by pre-purchasing a second image. Image selections are made here at the studio immediately after the session, or you can purchase an online gallery that will allow you to select your image online over the course of a week.

As a long time member of the Professional Photographers of America, I have long supported the educational opportunities that they provide for members. Last Monday, I had the pleasure of teaching a class for professional photographers here in Tallahassee, along with my dear friend Kira Derryberry. We were so blessed to have the most incredible model for the class, Mary. Mary is a singer and has the best personality in the world. I swear I could have photographed her for days! The next Photo Basics class is planned for January 24, 2015. This class is geared to NON-professional photographers! This class is for the average person looking to take better images, understand their camera better, and who just wants to understand what all the books mean with their nonsense abbreviations. In the class, we will cover the basics of exposure, composition, camera functions and some basic photo editing using free software. The class is $99,and limited to 12 people per class. There is no basic knowledge, camera or software needed for the class. I encourage all participants to bring their cameras and a notebook with them for notes. We will begin by talking about how the camera captures and image and what goes into making the exposure. We will cover what the buttons on the camera mean and how you can use them to get better images. (While I am a Canon shooter, if you own a Nikon, Fuji, etc. I will still be able to help!) We will then talk about how composition affects the final result and how to use creative compositions to elevate your images. Finally, we will take a look at some free photo editing software, learn how to make basic adjustments and how to avoid many of the common editing mistakes. Lastly we will have a brief question period for any material we did not cover earlier in the day or anything that was confusing or unclear.

For the first year ever, we are extending a mini-session offer into December. We will have mini-sessions in the studio on Saturday, December 6th. Each studio session is $350 and includes 7 high resolution retouched digital files, perfect for making prints for your family, holiday cards, etc. Each session can be children ages three months and up, or families of up to six people. Not valid for newborn, boudoir, headshot or maternity portrait sessions.
