I hardly ever enter images of my boys in competition. I am just too emotionally attached to them to handle any rough critique. So, I held my breath as I entered this image of my boys in the Tallahassee Professional Photographers Guild monthly competition, only to have them win the category “Portrait of Two”! Yay! Its my favorite image from their holiday session this year and I am super thrilled that the other photographers chose it as their favorite!
Ahhh… that incredibly calm feeling of the holidays. Well, for a photographer it doesn’t happen until all the holiday photos have been captured, edited, ordered and delivered. Tomorrow is just that day for Long’s Photography! We have had an amazing time photographing so many families, creating images for them to share, gifts to share, capturing images that will be treasured forever. Now its time for us to relax a bit and celebrate the joy of the season with our families.

The countdown to the holidays is on! If you are still looking for a family session in time for the holidays, we have one more mini-session offering just in time! Our Last Minute Mini-Sessions will be in the studio on Saturday, December 5th on our gray and white home set.
Sessions are $299 and include the mini-session for up to six people, retouching of all the final images and five high resolution digital files selected by photographer and provided by electronic download by December 12th.

Our last outdoor mini-sessions of 2015 will be on November 11th (Veteran’s Day) at Maclay Gardens! Each session is $69 for up to eight people and can include all ages! This is the perfect chance to get an updated family portrait at one of Tallahassee’s best outdoor locations! Since this is the last outdoor special we will offer this year, it will book quickly!
