Probably the hardest age to photograph is children between the ages of 1 and 2, which is exactly where Miss Rowan falls! She is so full of life and has so much to do– sitting still just wasn’t an option! We had a great time playing with all kinds of things in the studio, and I think her genuine smiles are just the greatest!
Baby Dylan is the sweetest little chunk… I always just want to squeeze him! He is normally the BIGGEST smiler, but this session he decided to show me his more sensitive, serious side. 🙂 And I have to be honest… it just made me melt!
I have so much respect for people that are artists. Not just photographers! I am totally addicted to so many reality competition shows– Top Chef, Project Runway, The Extreme Cake-Off shows, etc. I am fascinated by the things other people can create that I have ABSOLUTELY no talent for. This is also the way I feel about Kaley– she does all the hair styling for our boudoir marathons, she does my hair, my mom’s hair, etc. I am totally fascinated by what she does and how she makes it look so easy! I was thrilled to be able to share some of my artistic skills with her and finally meet her husband and little angel! As a mom of boys, going out to pick flowers with little girls is such a treat! So, thank you Kaley– not only for your amazing skills, but also sharing your Karter with me!
Babies don’t come any sweeter than Baby Sophie. She is probably one of the easiest babies I have EVER photographed. Just smile at her and she gives you the most beautiful grin in return. She just has the most amazingly happy personality that you could ever imagine– definitely a Miss Congeniality!
We did the first Walsh family portrait at the end of Andrew’s Watch Me Grow plan and now that Olivia is finished with her baby plan, it was time for a new family portrait! I love being able to watch a family grow over time, I honestly think its one of the greatest joys of this job. Andrew is such a big boy now and little Olivia is just as independent as she can be. I just can’t wait to see the people they become and i hope that I get to photograph all the steps along the way!
