Refreshing is the best word I can think of to describe Martha and Jay’s morning wedding. It was so wonderful to see a wedding where the couple did not worry about all the tiny details, or put their emphasis on a blow out party, but rather focused on their commitment and their vows. Probably the best laugh I had all day was when it was time for the vows, Martha hopped up on a wooden box so that she could say her vows eye to eye with Jay. Now there is a way to overcome a height difference!!

Olyn and I are celebrating all the new backgrounds and props we have here at the studio with a portrait special! For the month of July we are offering Whimsy portrait sessions for only $39! The session includes a 45 minute studio portrait session with your choice of Whimsy set and can accommodate one child or two siblings. This offer is only available in the month of July and is a savings of more than 50%!

Sessions are available Tuesday through Thursday from 9am until 4:30pm. Sessions are available only in the studio with our Whimsy sets and is valid only for children 18 and under. It’s voting time again! This time we are looking for Tallahassee’s Cutest Kid! Voting will be open from July 7th until July 14th. You may vote once per email address, but the voting rules are very strict!! Be sure to read over the rules and also spend some time choosing from the adorable kiddos that have been entered! So glad I don’t have to judge contests and can just leave it up to the votes!
VOTING RULES:
Votes will be accepted from 1am on July 7th until 11pm on July 14th. If you vote more than once per day with an email address, all votes from that email will be disqualified. You may only vote with your own email address!! If you use other people’s emails to submit votes those votes will all be thrown out and the contestant will be disqualified. All email addresses will be verified by a contact to that address. All invalid address votes will be disqualified. Please vote only with an email address where you can receive mail– if you are not allowed to receive personal email at an address, please do not use it for voting. 🙂

Teeny tiny Baby Kaidyn arrived 19 days early and arrived in our studio just three days after that! She was so sweet and beautiful– with all the wildness of kids and families around here, you can kind of forget that there can also be such serenity and innocence as well.

I am always shocked when babies finish their Watch Me Grow plans. A year can pass sop quickly! For Ellena and her family its a bit different. I can’t believe I have only known them a year! It feels like I have been photographing them forever! 🙂 Hopefully I will get to continue photographing their wild and crazy antics as Ellena and big brother Ky get big!
