It sure is a good thing that Baby Anthony is soooo cute…. cause if not his mommy might have lost it by now! This little guy just doesn’t sleep! He takes little teeny cat naps day and night– just long enough to get refreshed, but not long enough for his mommy to actually do anything! The sad thing is… this is EXACTLY how I was as a baby! Maybe I should connect Anthony’s mommy with my mommy so they can commiserate?
I have a very special place in my heart for preemies. Our little Ethan tried to come into this world at 28 weeks and luckily through the work of awesome doctors, he made it the full 40 weeks. Baby Waylon was very similar, but the doctors were not able to hold him off until the 40 week. Born at 2 pounds 11 ounces, Baby Waylon spent 9 weeks in the NICU. The little fighter wasn’t on oxygen very long and really showed the world how tough he really is. I am so thankful that he is here and healthy and that I got to play with him!
Because of our experience and the amazing preemies we have photographed in the past, I have decided to start a Preemie Angels program. If your child is born before 36 weeks, we are happy to photograph their first portraits at no charge. Just call the studio and schedule an appointment in the first month they are home from the hospital and you will have no session fee.
I swear Lynnen is a natural born performer. She cracks me up anytime I am near her and she totally gives me my “fix” for wanting a little girl! She and Ellasyn are all the ruffles, bows and giggles I can ever imagine! Ellasyn isn’t as much of a performer as her big sis, though. She is pretty mellow and content to just hang out and smile for me. Together– they are just the greatest pair and make the studio so much fun!
Olyn and I absolutely hate it when we both can’t be at a portrait session. When the other one sees the images, they of course have a million ideas they would have tried. Its our version of “armchair quaterbacking”. This time, all I could really tell Olyn was that I was bummed I missed all the fun! He did such a great job with Kelle and Josh and I could tell they had a really good time!
Thanks to everyone for their patience as we verified the Favorite Family Contest results! I wanted to be super careful, as only 20 votes separated the first and second place families! We received a tremendous amount of votes and making sure each one counted only once per day and that they were all valid addresses took a little bit. 🙂
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE MILLENDER FAMILY FOR BEING TALLAHASSEE”S FAVORITE FAMILY! They will be receiving a family portrait session and a framed 16×20 print! Because it was such a close count, we are also giving the second place family, the Sims, a complimentary family portrait session!! All sessions must be completed no later than October 25th. Additional fees may apply for travel outside the Tallahassee area or for after-hours appointment times.
