This year I have the privilege of serving as President of the Tallahassee Professional Photographers Guild. I have been on the board for the last four years and it is an organization that has continually challenged me, rewarded me and given me some of the greatest friends in the world. Two years ago, I was named “Tallahassee Photographer of the Year” by earning points in the Guild’s print competition. Last year, I chose not to compete so that I could run the competition and help other photographers learn the rules of competition.
This year, I am competing again and last night was our first meeting of the year. I was so thrilled and honored to win six of the 10 print categories and also have my print named “Overall Print of the Month”. While I continued to compete at state, regional and national competitions, I really missed how much fun our local competition is! So, here are my winning images from last night!
