A few years ago, we photographed Brittany’s sister for her senior portraits and ever since her mom has been waiting to do a matching session for Brittany. No pressure, right? 🙂
Sometimes when you put the camera to your eye you see your subject is something truly special. Brittany is definitely one of those subjects. Her features are obviously pretty when you first meet her, but when you put her in front of a camera she becomes absolutely exquisite. I swear I could photograph her all day! To make it even better, she is the most down to Earth teenager– an absolute sweetheart!

Samuel is a bit late for his senior portraits since he graduated last year, but its never too late to have an awesome session of one of your kids! Since we did his brother’s senior portraits a few month’s ago, his mom decided to go back and do a great session for Samuel as well. I loved getting to meet this great, funny, relaxed guy and I am so thankful he didn’t hold a grudge for missing March Madness games to be at the session!

I was again flattered that the other photographers in Tallahassee chose three of my images to win Print of the Month awards at the February Tallahassee Professional Photographers Guild meeting. There is so much good photography in the Tallahassee group that its such an honor to have my work selected as the best! For February, I won in the categories of Portrait of a Child, Portrait of a Woman and Portrait of a Man.

William was in the studio this last week for his Senior portraits and he brought his best friend in with him– his adorable doggie, Bruce! I loved that we could include Willaims’ personal interests into his senior portraits– not only Bruce, but also Boy Scouts and track. I could really see how much these senior portraits will mean to his mom– she was tearing up through half the session!
