Baby Evie was a long time due. Her parents had tried and hoped for her for nineteen years before she surprised everyone! When you hope and ache for a child for so long, having those prayers answered makes that child such a blessing and you cherish things differently than couples who conceive easily. In talking to Evie’s mommy, I knew how special this session was for her and I wanted to do everything that I could to make it a wonderful memory. Plus, it doesn’t hurt when the baby is freaking gorgeous and poses like a champ! Such a super model!

Little Mr. Grayson is a heartbreaker already! He knows how to flirt, bat those long eyelashes and then hide his sweet face like he is shy! He did it a little at his six month photo session, but its now his go-to move at nine months! Too cute!

Tiny baby Beau better grow quickly! I have a feeling that big sisters have a lot of big plans for playing dress up with this adorable little guy! You just know this is one dude who will be very thoroughly loved with his parents and sisters around to dote on him!

I know I have said it again and again, but following families through time is the greatest honor of my job. Some many years ago, I photographed Elizabeth and Adam’s engagement portraits and their wedding, so I was thrilled to photograph Elizabeth’s maternity portraits and soon their new baby! Not only do I feel honored, but it is so fun to catch up with long time clients, as they become old friends! Plus, I get to see them a lot for the little guy’s first year of photos!

Miss Layla is not one to be left out of things! She really wanted to be awake for her newborn portrait session and watch everything I was doing! We fought the good fight and got this sweet girl to fall asleep and she looks like such a princess!
