I love photographing families in locations that have significance to them. Heck, I love any new place to create a portrait and challenge my brain! For the Steele family, it was at the grandparents home. Since I have photographed this family for years, when I had any ideas they were very gung-ho, even when it meant climbing into a flower bed or snipping off a small branch of a tree that was in the way. I am so glad I have clients who trust so much in my photography because I absolutely love how these turned out!!

I love baby photography! I love getting to play with sweet chunky babies and capture their adorable smiles, funny faces and grumpy pouts! I am so honored that Yeevah is the fourth baby in her family that I have been able to photograph and that I still get to see her big brothers and sister as they grow. Its the best part of my job to stay with a family for years!

The McQuade family did their portraits in the neighborhood common space but of course it turned cold THAT very morning! We huddled for warmth and made the most of the sunshine but their beautiful portraits were so worth it!
