Baby Kaisley is a bit older than I normally have for a newborn session. She was such a tiny thing that even at three weeks she was able to do a lot of the poses. Miss thang definitely has a stubborn streak, though! When she didn’t want to do something, she would fight me like a tiger! I told her mom that she is definitely going to have a mind of her own!
Back from my trip to Tennessee, I was excited to try out some of the new techniques and props, so little Miss Paige was my model! She was such a sweet little thing and a great guinea pig for me!
One of my most favorite things about photography is that it always challenges me. There are always different techniques to learn, new things to try and ways of changing it up. I spent most of last week in Tennessee in a newborn baby workshop. It was a great experience with a lot of great people and my head is so full of new things!
I want to share a handful of images from the workshop, but this will be the only place I ever put them. While I did photograph and edit these images, since they were photographed at a workshop working with an instructor, I feel posting these in online galleries or anywhere else as samples of my work is a bit misleading and dishonest. I have already had a few newborns in the studio since I returned, so you will see lots of new fun images in the galleries and plenty more of fun coming soon!
Baby Zoey is so pinchably cute! She was a total angel for her session yesterday and just snuggled down into any pose I wanted her to. She is such a baby super model!
Tiny little Lucy was born three weeks early, so really her newborn session was right about the time she was supposed to be coming into the world! She is the sweetest little girl and with her head full of dark hair, she is just beautiful!
