Baby Emily was a total opposite from her big sister, Audrey. I was lucky enough to get to do newborn photos for both girls, but their differences were just night and day! Audrey was (and still is) a spitfire and really made me work hard for her newborn photos. Miss Emily went right to sleep for me and let me do lots of different things with her newborn session. I love getting to see this family grow and I can’t wait to see if Emily and Audrey keep their distinctly different personalities!
Little Shane’s chubby cheeks are probably the cutest thing in the whole wide world! This newborn boy will fool you though, he is strong as an ox! He has a stubborn streak to boot, so he definitely gave me a run for my money with his newborn baby photos! I think I won in the end, and we got lots of great newborn photos of his cute self!

We have been so blessed this year and have received so many honors and awards for our work. I am personally just in shock and I am so honored by it all! One of the most exciting surprises this year was when the Professional Photographer Magazine asked to do a feature on our studio! So, we got everything ready and then we had to wait six months to make the big announcement! If you know me, you will know this was absolute torture! I can NEVER keep a secret! 😉
But, after all the waiting I am thrilled to share the spread that is in the January 2014 Professional Photographer Magazine!
Baby Henry was such a super star for his newborn baby photos! He was so super sweet and snuggly, but he did have a long period of time where he just wanted to hang out and watch what was going on! He is such a big strong guy that I think he is destines for football stardom!
You just can’t look at newborn baby Avery without absolutely falling in love! She is so beautiful, but she definitely has a spit-fire personality! She was not at all interested in sleeping through her newborn photo session and she put up one heck of a fight! I eventually won, but I can already tell she is gonna give her parents a run for their money!
