Baby Peter

Baby Peter is just the sweetest little snuggler you could ever imagine.  He is so content to sleep in your arms, it was hard for me to put him down for his portraits!

The Warren Girls

As our children grow older its easy to put off family portraits– everyone is busy, the kids don’t change as much year to year, etc.  There are always a million excuses, but when you hold in your hands an image of your family those reasons all seem to fade.  I was thrilled to photograph the Warren girls and create a memory that I am sure they will all treasure once they are grown and have gone their separate ways.  Sessions like this make me love my job even more and help me realize how important photography can be.

Aiden and Laken

Siblings are always hilarious to photograph, but cousins are even funnier.  Think about it– there is such a comfort level with siblings that they are just old news.  But cousins– those are the greatest!  You get to see them a good amount, you love them, but you are not together enough to fight.  🙂  Laken is absolutely infatuated with his cousin Aiden and it was hard just to separate them for a few moments in the session.

The Fillingim Family

I know most of you are about to groan, but I have to tell you… the Christmas portrait season has already begun.  The Fillingim’s were the second family this month already planning their holiday cards.  I won’t lie, either, I LOVE them for it!  Their cards will be designed, delivered and probably addressed before the madness of October and November hits the studio.  And really, when your dog is named July, what better month to have him photographed in!? 🙂

The Long Boys

I am finally starting to recover from our vacation at the beginning of the month!  When we leave town, it just means a lot of chaos before we leave and even more when we return!  🙂  We had a fabulous time at Amelia Island and I did very very little work while we were there.  I did however, manage to photograph my two wild boys!  I still say that these two are some of the toughest subjects I ever photograph, but I think the struggle was worth it.  🙂
