Every child should have a portrait with their parents and their grandparents. As an adult, I look back at the images i have with my grandparents and they are some of my most prized possessions. For the Revell family, the session was a Christmas gift and I am so thrilled that it is a gift I know little Mason will really cherish when he is all grown up.
I am in denial that this was Stella’s last Watch Me Grow session! I have loved every minute of playing this munchkin and hanging out with her awesome parents! I think I will just have to find reasons to drag this adorable family back into the studio on a regular basis!

As much as I adore working with kids, its just nice sometimes to photograph grown-ups who will do what you say! 🙂 The Scott family all got together and met us at Southwood for their family session and it was just as easy and fun as I could ever hope for. Again, not to knock on my tiny subjects, but a session where I don’t have to bribe someone with candy was such a relief! 🙂
I have been photographing Miss Z for several years, but this was the first time I got to photograph the grown-ups, so there was a bit of added pressure for this session. 🙂 I already know Miss Z’s quirks and giggle spots, but figureing everyone else out was an absolute hoot! I can definitely say this– God broke the mold when he made the Barnett family!
