Oh my goodness!  Miss Rose is absolutely positively one of a kind!  She is smart, funny and absolutely stubborn! She had me in giggles her entire session and I love how the images really reflect her big personality!

At first, Alayah seems quiet, reserved and observant.  After a few moments you get to see her TRUE personality!  She definitely made me work for it as she loved to rearrange all of the furniture and props.  All I could do is keep up with her and giggle at her antics!  I can’t wait to play with her again!

One of the great benefits of photographing a family for years is that I get the chance to really learn their style and taste.  When Tassie first told me she wanted a classical painting of Mia, I knew exactly what she was looking for. 

We spent a morning at Maclay Gardens capturing Mia in different dresses and settings and I absolutely cannot wait for the finished image to come in from the lab!  For this fine art oil painting, we take the original image and paint it digitally, then it is sent off for printing and an artist will accent the digital brush strokes by painting on top of the photograph with actual acrylic paint.  It will be a stunning heirloom portrait hanging in their foyer for years to come!
