To all of our past clients, thank you for all the support and feedback through the years.  When clients share their thoughts I spend weeks or months thinking of how best to address concerns for the future.  The last few years have had a lot of comments on affordability and value.  I have listened carefully and today I am thrilled to announce changes that will provide that for clients while also providing a balance of my editing time.

The new pricing is now online at www.LongsPhotography.com with significant price reductions.  The Basic Session will be a 30 minute studio only session, so clients who only want a “mini” session have a chance to book that at any time.  The standard session is back up to an hour and can be done in the studio or on location.  The pricing of these sessions has been cut by HALF on the old pricing as well!

The biggest change will be in the retouching process.  Clients seem to be divided in how much editing they want on their images, so to best address that, the new pricing includes STANDARD retouching only.  Standard retouching will include corrections for color, exposure, small blemishes and background correction.  Clients can choose any or all of their images and purchase the upgrade to ENHANCED retouching.  Enhanced retouching includes: glasses glare, braces removal, acne removal, body shaping, head swaps, etc.  An upgrade to Enhanced Retouching will be $25-$50 per image, depending on the amount of work needed.

Since the retouching is more streamlined, this will also result in a price reduction for purchasing digital images.  Digital images are now $25 per image (printable up to 8×10) with standard retouching, or $100 for full resolution images with standard retouching.  For clients who prefer printed products, ALL printed products and product collections will still include enhanced retouching!

Its time for our biggest mini-session event of the year!! This is the 15th year we have offered Ducks and Bunnies sessions and I swear they get better every year!  This year, sessions will be March 23 and 24 in our Tallahassee studio Gardens.

 

We have changed our pricing a bit, but we think most people will love the change!  Sessions are now $250 and include five digital images printable up to 8×10.  Additional small digital images are available for $50 each, or you can choose any of the products from our menu.

Its always such an honor to create a family’s first portrait.  I loved getting to meet the Belton family and capture these first moments with their little girl.  At a month old, she was older than most of my newborns, but we still managed to get her to sleep and give us some of the most adorable images– just look at those cheeks!

Welcome to the world baby Ruby!!  You are such a loved little girl- with two big brothers who absolutely adore you already!! Its really the most fun seeing these two guys grow from tiny babies into some of the coolest dudes in town and now watching them become big brothers- I love it!
