After all these years and hundeds (if not thousands) of baby portrait sessions, I have discovered my FAVORITE day to photograph a baby. Its the day they discover their “surprised” face! I giggled at Rory non-stop through the session because he just discovered this reaction and did it a LOT for me! He is always such a sweet, fun baby to photograph, but just look at his surprised face and try not to laugh!

When you have four kids, its rare that you get all of them in the perfect mood. Even rarer that they are all looking good and matching. Asking for all that to happen first thing in the morning? Impossible. We got pretty darn close though, since Miss Erilyn decided to show me her serious model face for a lot of the session. I still love her little pouty face and that we had to bribe her with holding a baby chick! Thats real life with a big family on a farm, yall!

Kerrigan is the cure for a gloomy, rainy day. Being around her, you just can’t help but smile. Se is the sweetest little girl and is full of energy! Even though these were her nine month photos, this baby is on the move! She can already stand on her own and she is cruising around the house with her walker. Its really a matter of days before this girl is walking!

My buddy Henry was back in the studio today for his nine month portraits and the little cutie absolutely brightened my morning! He is a fairly serious little dude, but when you do get him to smile or laugh, it absolutely lights up the room! He had me laughing so hard this morning I could barely hold the camera straight!

Ahh! I love Baby Ryan! He is always so sweet and smiley for his baby plan photo sessions! He was definitely more work this time as he is on the move! I can’t wait for his one year session, he’s gonna be everywhere!
