It felt like Miss Riley would never get here! I photographed her parents wedding a few years ago, so I was thrilled to hear they were expecting their first baby! I knew we would have to include some maize and blue for these Michigan alums, so I started thinking about the session when I first heard about the pregnancy. But I am so used to finding out about newborn sessions in the last few months of a pregnancy… I was quite impatient by the time this beautiful girl finally arrived! I do have to say she is an absolute angel and definitely worth the wait!

I was so excited to meet baby Grayson! I photographed his parents wedding about 18 months ago and I just couldn’t wait to meet their little dude! He definitely has a feisty personality and with his small size, he strikes me as a Mighty Mouse! He was an absolute angel for his newborn photos and I just love all the fun things we got to do with him!

I have photographed a LOT of babies, but I can honestly say I think Miss Padgett has the most hair of any newborn I have ever photographed! Between her beautiful locks and those irresistible cheeks, I was in love! Plus she was super sweet for her portraits– heaven!

Teeny tiny little Jonathan was only a week old when his mom and dad brought him into the studio for his newborn portrait session. He was such an awesome model– never really crying! The biggest sound I think I got was a squeak! Such a sweet mouse!!
