Rory is one of those always happy babies. He is just a rainbow of sunshine and he never fails to brighten my day! I can’t believe he is already walking and starting to talk! Even after all these years, it never stops amazing me how fast these babies become big kids!

It can be tough when you move, then have another baby. You never want the youngest one to feel left out or different than their older siblings. I am so glad I got to photograph the Powell family and help them create images of their youngest that matches the images of their older two! We also got some distinctly different images, but I love that the little guy has his place on the wall now too!

We finished off Carolyn Grace’s Watch Me Grow plan with a trip to the park. I always have to laugh at CG because she is a little firecracker! She has big opinions and is not afraid to share them! Her mom and dad are so laid back, but little miss is beyond feisty! I will say that she wears all her emotions on her face though, so I doubt she will ever be able to lie!

What a difference a year makes! Last year, we photographed their maternity session in the cotton and this year we did family portraits with a baby who is nearly walking!! I love that we made it personal to them and did the session on their family farm. These are the things that years from now will be such a part of her childhood memories, it makes it all the more special!

I have photographed the Burke family for years, but I think this was the first time I did a big family portrait of everyone! I am so glad that we could get everyone together and capture these memories I know they will treasure for years!
