A whole year has already passed!? How did that happen!?? I am so glad we got to celebrate Eli’s first birthday at Maclay Gardens and include his big brother and parents as well! It was an early day, but we managed to beat some of the summer heat and humidity!
Sometimes a teen really knows what they want to do with their life. For Justin, he wants to be a pilot and he’s already taken flying lessons! I am so impressed with this teen who so clearly knows what he wants for his future. What better thing to do then, for his senior portraits, but to include that passion?? Plus, photographing airplanes in a hanger and on the runway is super cool!
Our Fall Mini-sessions are always one of my favorites of the year. While Tallahassee doesn’t have a lot of fall colors and our fall weather tends to come closer to winter time, the Fall mini-session set is a way to bring all those rich, lush colors of the season into a session. We had a great turnout for the sessions this year and I am thrilled with all the sweet portraits we captured! We are already planning big changes for the Fall mini-sessions for 2016, so stay tuned!

Well, sometimes Mother Nature throws us a curve ball. The Williams family session was supposed to be outside until a massive thunderstorm changed those plans! We couldn’t reschedule due to the craziness of school starting so we made the best of it with a studio session instead. This family is beyond awesome– they laugh, they love, they tease and most of all they have fun! They definitely brightened my rainy afternoon!
Some couples are really emotional on their wedding day and cry at the drop of the hat. Kelsey and Bryce are the TOTAL opposite. They both spent the entire day laughing and joking. It was so refreshing to see a couple so thoroughly enjoy each other and the celebration of their love!
Its not everyday you get to photograph five generations of women in one family! Its so rewarding to create images you know a family will treasure for years!
