For the month of June we are offering Princess Paintings for the first time ever! Your little girl can dress as Cinderella, Belle, Rapunzel or Sophia! The $299 painting commission includes the studio session and an 11×14 painted canvas panel.
Right after the portrait session, you select the image you would like painted and in four weeks, we will have your canvas panel ready for you! You can order additional prints of the painting at our normal print prices, or you can commission additional images from the session to be painted for $250 each, including an 11×14 canvas panel.

“Rain” is definitely a four letter word when it comes to weddings. No bride wants rain on their wedding day and I think the “10 day weather forecasts” only exist to make brides crazy worrying. We tell brides that rain on their wedding day means good luck to make them feel better, but for Jenny and Sergio’s destination wedding in historic St. Augustine, the rain really works in their wedding photos! (and I don’t just say that to make them feel better about the weather!) The storm clouds and moody light really add to the weathered and time worn look of historic St. Augustine where they wed in a beautiful historic church. So, for once, I can be happy about rain on a wedding day!

May 29, 2018 | Family Portraits
We met up with the Schaper family during one of the few spells of sunshine we have had lately at their home for an updated family portrait. I love making family portraits really personal. When we do a family portrait session in a home or a location that has a lot of meaning, I know that the impact of the image down the road will be that much more important. Ten or twenty years from now, this family will be larger, they may not own this home anymore, but looking at this image will take them right back to this moment, this memory of their family and the home they shared.
