Olyn and I competed in the Tallahassee Professional Photographers Guild monthly print competition last night and we are so excited to share the results! Olyn won for the category “Portrait of a Group”. I entered the maximum number of prints in the competition and I won for all of them! I won for: Commercial, Portrait of Two, Portrait of a Man and Portrait of a Woman. Most excitingly, I won the overall Print of the Month of the Month with my Portrait of a Woman.
So, here are the winning images!

Jennie and Matt had an intimate lake side wedding at Lake Bryan in Orlando. These two are so perfectly matched– they are so funny and full of life. Sometimes when you see a couple, they just make sense. Olyn and I were so honored that they had us go down to Orlando to photograph their wedding!
The wedding itself was sweet and emotional– especially Jennie’s last moments with her dad before she walked down the aisle! I do have to say its pretty dang hard to upstage a bride’s entrance at a wedding, but when Matt and the groomsmen came flying up in a speedboat they definitely started the ceremony with a bang!

Sweet baby Kennedy was back in the studio for her nine month baby plan photo session! Always such a sweet baby, Kennedy rocked her photo session even though she missed her normal cat nap! She is such a fun baby to play with– I just hate that we don’t have that much left in her baby plan!

Probably my favorite thing about a Senior Photo Session is being able to include the things that the senior is passionate about. For Tyler, its soccer and the outdoors, so we headed over to Tallahassee’s Forest Meadows soccer complex for his senior photo session. Every senior guy grumbles and drags their feet about their senior photo session, but after a few minutes I think Tyler realized that our session would be WAY different than the school senior photos! I would even venture to say he had fun– even if he won’t admit it!

Most senior girls would wrinkle up their noses if I asked them to wander into a bunch of weeds on the side of the road, but Sara Grayce just grabbed her boots and jumped in! She was so awesome for her senior photo session this week and went along with all our bizarre ideas! She was the perfect senior portrait client– I could photograph her everyday!
