Sawyer was named for Tom Sawyer, a notable character in American literature… so what better way to do his newborn session that pay homage to both Tom Sawyer and literature? 🙂

Y’all might recognize Mr. Gibson– he is the adorable newborn baby in my “bookworm” image. He was back in for his six month session, so we decided to not only revisit the bookworm aspect, but also add a bit of Superman to his Clark Kent. 🙂
Baby Caroline is always the smiliest, giggliest little rolly-polly, but for her nine moth portraits she was fighting off a cold AND getting some new teeth. Despite feeling pretty crummy, she still gave me those sweet smiles– I just had to work a little harder to get them!
I am so jealous of Naomi. Yeah, I said it! No one this pregnant should make it look so good! I was absolutely miserable at the end of both my pregnancies, but Naomi is just glowing! Admit it, you’re jealous too!
