Tallahassee seniors don’t tend to get senior portraits taken outside what the school photographer does and I think its such a shame! Hardly ever are the school ones the best portraits and they don’t have that much variety… I think seniors are each so unique and different, from their personal style, interests, personalities, etc. So, Olyn and I are on a mission to show seniors that they have options with their senior portraits! Sara was the first senior model for the 2012 class that we had in the studio and she was beyond awesome. She and Olyn instantly clicked and they harassed each other the entire session. It was kind of nice having someone else around to give him a hard time!

Its been just over a year since Bella’s last portrait session and she has changed so much! I have been photographing this little princess since before she was born, so its such a shock to the system to see her running around and talking our ears off!

Watching babies discover their world is always so sweet and for Payten’s three month portraits she made a big discovery… her toes! They must be the coolest toes in the world, as we spent the rest of the session trying to distract her from those ten little piggies!

The April issue of Tallahassee “Moms Like Me” came out over the weekend in the Tallahassee Democrat and I just have to say how adorable the cover image is! Not that I could possibly be biased… being the mother of the model and the wife of the photographer! 🙂 The Tallahassee Democrat asked us to illustrate their feature story of teaching children responsibility with money and with short notice, we recruited our in house model. We am so thrilled to be working with the Tallahassee Democrat for other issues this year, so if you have an upcoming session with us, we might be throwing in a few illustrative shots to possibly be chosen for a future cover!

Just thinking of Baby Emma makes me smile. She is the sweetest, funniest, cutest little thing with a personality large enough to fill up a room! She is so full of energy and sass, I think she was made to be in front of the camera!
