Ok, so I am getting hounded with emails asking for new photos of Ethan, so here is a little early Easter cheer! I think he looks more like Olyn everyday. He is now starting to laugh for us and the smiles are coming more frequently. He is a total snugglebug and loves to sit and watch the world go by. I am hoping to photograph big brother Thatcher soon, so check back for his post!

Zach decided to give me a run for my money for his one year portraits. 🙂 He has decided lately to be mommy’s boy and is less than happy to not be cuddling on mommy. Since mommy didn’t want to be in the portraits, we had to get creative in getting Zach to smile and be happy on his own. I have to say that I am pretty proud of the results– portraits of a smiling little guy!

Newborns do not look at the camera, they certainly do not smile and they almost always have multiple meltdowns during their portrait session. Apparently no one gave Miss E that message! She was so awake, alert and incredibly cooperative for her portrait session that it was hard to believe she was so tiny! So, Miss E wins my star of the day for being so awesome!

Some people you just know are kindred spirits from the start– I knew instantly I would love the Billington family. They drive the same car I do, have both South Carolina and Clemson stickers on their car and just have the most happy, content vibe you could ever imagine. With all that in their favor, you don’t have to throw in an adorable snuggly baby, but it definitely put them over the top in my book!!

Serious is not in Christen and Eddie’s vocabulary. Any time we tried an image with “no smiles” one or both of them would burst out laughing. While we did have to wait a bit for the giggles to subside, I think any relationship with this much laughter is destined for good things!
