Photographing a wedding with an awesome couple, beautiful details and fun guests– pretty much a photographer’s dream. Add in that the couple totally trusts you and gives you creative freedom?? Then add in that its the second wedding for this family, so you already know and love lots of people there?? Yes, I was in photography heaven on Saturday with Meredith and Brad’s wedding!
From the sweet ceremony at St. Thomas More to the amazingly gorgeous reception at the Double Tree in downtown Tallahassee, Meredith and Brad had an absolutely perfect wedding day! With all the purple and gold details and the special vintage touches, it was a completely unique and personalized event– right on down to the tennis shoe ice sculpture (since the couple met running a marathon). I am so glad that Meredith and Brad chose us to photograph their awesome wedding!

Grant is the best little giggle bug! He was all smiles for his six month photos– despite the fact that he should have his first tooth coming through any day now! With such an adorable little face and roly little legs– don’t you just want to squeeze him!?

Thank you to everyone who voted in our Annual Cute Kid Contest! We had an amazing turnout and after verifying the thousands and thousands of votes, we have a winner! There were so many votes this year and the margins between the top five were all really close… so we are also awarding four runners up! The winning kid receives a studio portrait session with Long’s Photography, a framed 11×14 print and a 10% print discount at their order session. I have been photographing Miss Lily since before she was born, so I definitely consider her one of “my babies”. As silly as Lily can be, I still see her as an old soul. She has the most inquisitive personality and you can just watch her study her surroundings. Her sessions are always so much fun, but I have to say I think this one might be my favorite! I feel so lucky to watch her grow into such a big kid and have the chance to be their family photographer!
