Zoey and Helen are dance ninjas– these two sassy ladies were in NINE dances at their spring recital! I am so impressed… I think I would be lucky to remember just one! I was so glad they came to the studio this week to show off some of their favorite costumes!

Thank you to everyone who entered our Annual Cute Kid Contest! (If you missed the announcements, be sure to “like” us on Facebook so you don’t miss out again!) We have some adorable faces for y’all to choose from and the voting will be open until noon on July 30th.
You may vote ONCE per DAY per email address. You may only vote with your own email addresses– not your husband’s, your co-workers, etc. If an email address is used more than once per day, all votes from that address are disqualified. If you are found voting with anyone else’s email address, that child will be disqualified. Only vote from email addresses you are allowed to receive personal email at, because if an angry IT guy from your office calls me, we will disqualify your votes. 🙂 We will send an email to verify that all addresses are real and any email addresses that bounce back will not be counted.
**UPDATE July 30th** VOTING IS NOW CLOSED. WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF VERIFYING ALL THE VOTES AND WE WILL BE ANNOUNCING THE WINNER IN THE COMING DAYS. THANK YOU AGAIN TO EVERYONE WHO VOTED!
The winning child will receive a FREE portrait session with Long’s Photography and a framed 11×14 print. We will periodically post updates to the contest on Facebook, so be sure to “like” us and follow all the action!

Last night was the Tallahassee Professional Photographers Salon competition where local photographers have their work evaluated by a panel of professional photography judges. Olyn and I are thrilled that we had two wedding albums and three prints that received merits, our wedding album for Michelle and James received second place overall and my social function print, “All Along the Watchtower” received third place overall. It was an incredible competition with so many amazing pieces of art created by Tallahassee’s best photographers and we are so honored that our work scored so well.

Hannah was my rockstar this week– I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better baby. She is obviously beautiful but she is so stinkin cuddly and sweet I didn’t want to give her back to her mommy! This little monkey was cool with whatever I wanted to do with her and just let me play! I think I accomplished more in her one hour session than I do with most babies in three hours! So, yea for Hannah! 🙂

Wow– siblings who really and truly adore each other! Or at least do a very convincing act of it when they are in the studio! Miss S and Mr. C were so fun to play with and have a great silly time. They had absolutely no problems being affectionate and authentic in front of the camera!
