Ok, get ready to giggle at me. Most people know that my brain works in its own weird ways and I see things in a different way than most people. Well, when I downloaded the images from Baby Haley’s session all I could think was “Fabric softener ad!” Yes, I know. Laugh away! But she really honestly truly looks so comfy and snuggly that I can absolutely see these as a laundry ad!

I think its easy for a lot of brides to lose focus with their weddings. They get so wrapped up in the exact right shade of pink that the whole day becomes more of a production than a true celebration. Mandi is the opposite. She prepared and expected for some things to not be exactly right. She laughed when there were a few bumps in the road and when things couldn’t go exactly as planned, she laughed and shrugged. No matter how hard you try, you cannot script children. You cannot refine them or make them anything other than who they authentically are. Brady was so himself– he cracked me up nonstop. He played with just about every toy we have here at the studio and gave me that kid-smile that resembles more of a growling grimace than actual happiness. Needless to say, he was adorable!
