Wow! We have received more than twice as many toddlers as we had babies in our last contest! This is going to be such a tough choice, I am so glad I am not the one making it!! Below are our 39 Cute Toddlers!

So much of my job is about timing. You have to be in the right spot at the right time to get the shot that you need. It might sound like I am talking about the weddings we photograph, but the same principle really applies to photographing babies! For Miss Abbie we had to wait for her to be in the right mood and once we got her happy, we moved quickly! She was so incredibly sweet and chatted up a storm while I shot away!
Baby Rhys is just BARELY sitting up now, so his six month portraits were a real balancing act! His mommy is just off to the side, catching the little guy when he would lose his balance. I started calling him a weeble, but then the rest of the day the little song, “Weebles wobble, but they don’t fall down!” was stuck in my head. Days like yesterday make me so glad no one can read my thoughts!

Sweet Baby Matthew was asleep almost his entire portrait session. At three weeks he is just the tiniest little cuddle bean! His mom really loves black and white images, so we tailored her session to give her just that!

One of the best things about this job is getting to photograph your friends. 🙂 I was so happy to photograph the Johnson family, since Alia and I have been friends for years. I always say that ages 1-2 years are the hardest to photograph, but little Miss P was so precious and gave me lots and lots of great shots!
