It was really a reunion day on Friday as Tiffany and Jason brought in their new baby, Carson. I photographed Tiffany and Jason's wedding almost a year ago and I am so excited to photograph Carson's first year. I swear he is the most expressionistic newborn I have ever seen! He had a million faces!

Baby Daisy

I spent my morning at Baby Daisy's house for her newborn portraits. She is so cute and tiny-- less than a week old! She is an amazingly good-natured infant and was so alert and sweet throughout the entire session. Baby Jason

Baby Jason came by the studio yesterday for a nap... I mean his newborn portrait session. I have never seen a baby this content to sleep anywhere! From the looks of things, he is letting his mommy get some rest! Honestly, the only way to keep this guy awake is to keep him naked! Thank goodness its still so warm in Tallahassee!

Baby Katalina

If ever I have met a baby that should be a model, its Baby Katalina. At only 21 days old, she is probably the most relaxed, calm and serene infant I have ever seen. She was content to lay just about anywhere, to have her clothes changed numerous times and to be moved all around to get the right angle. The only cry she made was when we were done!

Baby Joseph

Ok-- I really do try to only blog a small number of images from portrait sessions, but I really couldn't narrow it down for Baby Joseph! At almost three weeks old, he was such a sweet model for his session yesterday. I think mostly because his mom warned me that he wasn't always the most cooperative model, he decided to prove her wrong!

Baby Devenney

Baby Devenney came by the studio today for her 3 month portraits. I think I must be unpopular with the babies this week-- I just couldn't get her to crack a smile! Although she was not in the greatest of moods, she is such a cutie pie I think we got some gorgeous images!

Savannah Jane

Yesterday, I helped my friends Sarah and Eli welcome their new daughter, Savannah Jane, to the world. For her very first photo shoot, four-day-old Savannah was quite the model!

A Busy Week

This past week, Olyn and I covered three weddings and did portraits for the cutest twin girls in town.

I photographed the wedding of Amber and Mike at Los Robles park in Tallahassee. The couple's wedding was filled with family touches, as both the bride's aunt and cousin sang during the ceremony. The couple danced the night away at the near-by Women's Club.

Olyn traveled to Panama City to photograph the destination wedding of Audrey and Dustin. The couple were surrounded by their close-knit families as they exchanged vows at sunset.

I had a rare weekday wedding for the vows of Michelle and Phil. The avid Steelers fans traveled down from Ohio to enjoy the emerald waters and white sand of the Gulf Coast.

The Bennett twins came to the new studio for their debut portrait session. It is amazing how infants so young can have such distinctly individual personalities!
