I caught up with Jill and Brent on Tuesday night for their engagement session. We had such an awesome location-- Ten Oaks Farm-- where Jill works. It 's so great to shoot in new areas with different looks and lighting!Isn't it always the case in a family portrait that one of the children refuses to behave??

JoAnna and Chris raced into town on Friday and had their engagement session yesterday-- just in time for their wedding THIS Friday! :) I had a great time with them at Goodwood Museum and I am really looking forward to Friday! JoAnna was so calm for being a long distance bride-- I remember how frantic of a bride I was trying to get everything and everyone in place for the wedding!

Betty and Paul

Olyn met with Betty and Paul at yesterday at Dorothy B. Oven Park for their engagement portraits. The gloomy skies threatened to cancel everything, but the rain held off long enough to get in a great session! Betty and Paul are a real blast to photograph. They are so comfortable with themselves and know all the little things that make each other smile. Olyn even learned an interesting tidbit at the session… when Paul and Betty first met, they did not exactly get along. You sure couldn’t tell that now!

Nicole and David are so hilarious to me-- they are such an opposite couple! He is tall, she is tiny; he hates being photographed, she loves it; she's girly and he's so macho... Its going to be a blast harassing David at the wedding in August!

Of all the engagement sessions I have ever done, I have never shot one at Tom Brown Park! I don't know why, its just never happened! I had a wonderful time yesterday at the park with Kris and Eric-- I got to explore some new portrait locations and try out a few new things. Julie and Steve

Although I have lived in Tallahassee almost 10 years, I have never been to Misson San Luis. So, yesterday's engagement session with Julie and Steve was a major first-- my first trip to the mission and my first portraits of a couple in period clothing. I really love shooting in new locations, it allows me to see things fresh and come up with new ideas. I had a great time with Julie and Steve and a great tour of the mission! www.LongsPhotography.com

I met Stephanie and David yesterday morning at Dorothy B. Oven Park for their engagement session. I was so relieved it was finally kind of warm outside! I really had fun with Stephanie and David-- they are really my kind of couple-- they would rather beat on each other than snuggle and kiss. :)

They both have the most amazing blue eyes. I promise there is not a bit of Photoshop on their eye color.

You know its going to be a great wedding when you already love the family! I finally met Damon yesterday for the couple's engagement session and I also had the pleasure of meeting his mom.
