My day off

I actually took a day off. WOW! Photography has been pretty solid since Spring began and when I am not shooting and editing, I am taking care of the new house and baby! Today I did something just for me... I took photos! It is so wonderful to have your hobby and your job be one and the same!

Here are a shot of the favorite flower in my yard-- Pink Ginger.

Lindsey and Frank

Yesterday I got to do something different!! I went downtown to do engagement portraits for Lindsey and Frank. As much as I love Maclay Gardens and Dorothy B. Oven, it was such a treat to shoot somewhere else! These high school sweethearts were so easy to photograph-- they were really themselves, all I had to do was hit the shutter!

Kelli and Yancie

Yesterday we photographed the wedding of Kelli and Yancie. They booked us more than a year ago and in the course of doing their engagement and bridal portraits, we have really developed a friendship with them. It was so much fun to share in their day!

Despite some chaotic moments, Kelli and Yancie really kept everything in perspective and enjoyed their day to the fullest.

Tiffany and Bryan

Yesterday I went over to Southwood to take engagement portraits of my friend Tiffany and her fiance, Bryan. It is such an honor to photograph those who you care about, but it always makes me nervous-- I want to do such a good job for them! Here are a few I like, I hope they feel the same!

Some of you have already been out to the new studio, but for the rest of you- HERE IT IS!

We are thrilled with the new space which not only has an outside entrance, my workspace and a meeting area, but also an indoor studio. To celebrate the move, we are offering $100 portrait sessions for children and for budoir portraits! The offer includes the sitting fee, online proofing, and a $50 credit to order any prints you like. The offer expires August 15th!

Casey and Walter

I went to Maclay Gardens this week to do engagment portraits for Casey and Walter. The couple is new to Tallahassee and these overachievers moved to town, bought a house, planned a long distance wedding and are studying for the bar exam-- all in the last month! Just listening to everything they had to do made ME exhausted!!
